Hospitality Experience

Started my hospitality career at the wonderful Waffle House in St Albans before doing a ski season in the exclusive resort of Zermatt where I worked in a Swiss owned fine dining restaurant before returning home and working as a hotel receptionist for Thistle Hotels. Also did a stint on the fish counter at Waitrose if that counts… I can fillet a whole salmon but smelling of fish when you’re 17 wasn’t fun and customers used to love to give me tips on how to get rid of it. #Awkward

Definitely a Kir Royale to start the night. It’s basically fizzy Ribena for grown ups! What’s not to love? Then it’s keep the champagne coming.

Restaurant Recommendation

Chutney Mary in Piccadilly. It’s one of those places where the smell hits you when you walk in and it’s so homely and inviting. The cocktails are off the scale and everything from the food and service down to the crockery and glassware makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!
