Evolve Hospitality has a new office, based in the heart of Cambridge city centre. Part of The Evolve Group, Evolve Hospitality provides the best temporary talent to the industry. The new Cambridge team is led by Operations Director, Jennifer Walklate:

“We got the keys to the office in January, spent time building our talent pool in the area and opened for business in March 2022.”

“A former client gave us the idea of opening in Cambridge, as a hub for top restaurants, event catering, as well as the many corporate contract catering sites to which Cambridge is home. We are grateful for the access to their networks that helped us get set up and provide work right away for our early candidates.” 

The office is well-located for access, on the main road from the station into town, with parking available. It benefits from a downstairs training suite, just for use by candidates, which mirrors our London HQ. This is where the team can run training sessions and skills tests, ahead of staff deployment. 

“I’ve worked for Evolve for 9 years, previously in London where I still run back-of-house,” Jenny continues. “Right now, we’re looking to appoint a new member of staff to the Cambridge office, growing the team and our work in Cambridge.”

The Cambridge office is looking to recruit hospitality staff of any age and experience, who want the flexibility of temp work.

We can offer work to suit all availabilities, across all days and times. Anyone who is hard working, friendly and has a good attitude is welcome to pop in and see us – some experience may be helpful but is not necessary, as we can provide full training. 

The work on offer is of particular relevance to students returning from university, and looking for positions during the holidays.

– Front-of-house
– Back-of-house – Chef de partie and above (at least one year’s experience)
– Baristas
– Kitchen assistants

The Cambridge office welcomes drop-ins from 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, where you can meet the team and learn about the work on offer. Alternatively, you can book in advance and we’ll inform you what to bring with you to get set-up on our books right away.
